Diet Water Presentation!

As part of their Cycle One presentation Diet Water created a video to help share their message of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Diet Water - Food Technology

As part of their inquiry focus some of the Diet Water group have been spending time with Mrs Watson in the Food Technology room. They have been looking at measurement and different ways to measure volume, so that when the time comes they are able to follow recipes and turn out some tasty food.

I will never forget the time when I was at school and a group got mixed up between a cup and tablespoon when adding salt to their chocolate chip cookies. Yuck.

Tino Pai Simon! This weeks Award of Merit went to Simon for showing great sportsmanship, a willingness to have a go and encouraging others around him.

Research

In Room 19 we have been putting our research skills into use at the library.

To research we know that we must first plan what we would like to find out about, to do this we have been using a KWHL Chart.

This chart shows what we know, what we want to know, how we found out the information, and what we have learnt. By using this we are able to spend our time researching effectively.
